The Demon was missing for the next few episodes of Nitro and Thunder, and reappeared on the last episode of the month, and if I'm not mistaken, that was his last appearance on WCW Nitro, most likely an unplanned fact since it looked like he was going to be a part of a new group but then never appeared again and then he just disappeared quietly.
The Dark Carnival group, which was Vampiro, now dressed in over sized rapper clothes and clown makeup, and his Insane Clown Posse buddies and The Great Muta, fought with a tag team group called 3 Count.
They won with the 3 Count of course, but after they did, a wrestler called Tank Abbot came out to attack the 3 Count guys.When he takes care of them, The Carnival group goes back to the ring and attack Abbot. When the 3 Count guys, who look like 90's boys band, come back to life they also team up with Carnival guys to beat up Abbot. Suddenly, God of Thunder starts playing and The Demon runs in to help him!
Still, it's 7 guys against one laying down and one standing, so even though The Demon does good for a while, he gets sprayed in the face with Great Muta's mist and goes down. And then Sting comes in with a baseball bat and cleans the ring.
It looks like a new partnership is formed, The Demon, Sting and Tank Abbot.
But that never happens and further episodes and this particular feud goes on without The Demon who simply never appears again.
