On June 14, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, Vampiro came to the ring with microphone to remind everyone that he put Sting on fire. He talks about having no remorse about it, and then yells at fans who keep their Sting posters up. He also begins to yell at a female fan who has a Sting mask on. He pulls her mask down to reveal it's actually a female wrestler called Asya, who immediately spits in Vampiro's face, and when she does, God of Thunder begins to play and The Demon comes out.
He rushes to the stage and another match with Vampiro begins. The commentators reveal that Asya is actually The Demon's fiance (today his wife). The Demon fiercely attacks Vampiro, but when Vampiro gets an upper hand Asya rushes to the stage to help him.
Tony Shiavone: We know The Demon, the man who wrestles as Demon, by the name of Dale Torborg. And Dale's fiance, the lady he's going to marry, is Asya
Vampiro slams her to the ground too, and that's when The Demon defends her, beats Vampiro out of the ring, towards the entrance where his sarcophagus is. A barely standing Vampiro gets thrown into the actual sarcophagus and is closed in it.
Then it looks like The Demon is going to set the sarcophagus on fire! The audience goes nuts as The Demon takes a torch and aims it at his iron maiden with Vampiro inside, but he only blows a fireball towards it, perhaps as a warning to Vampiro.
The Demon goes back to check on Asya, while a very dizzy, beaten Vampiro stumbles out of the sarcophagus
The Demon's real name, Dale Torborg, is for the first time officially spoken on the show.
Some groundwork is laid for the plot of the next episode by the commentators
Scott Hudson: It takes a freak to take on a freak
Tony Shiavone: The Demon, dripping a red substance from his mouth, is now like a man possessed, like a dark angel on his own
