After the ridiculing comedic skit on Nitro, The Demon appeared on WCW Thunder and went back to the amateurish Saturday Night again, facing Yun Yang - as usual per Saturday Night, a newcomer straight from the training. Very young and fragile looking, Yang was just a cannon fodder for anyone with any experience whatsoever (he did make a career much later), and while The Demon had minimal, he already had some established persona and appeared on Nitro.
This is the third time that Dale Torborg fought without the top part of his costume, which were straps and gladiator-like sleeve on one hand. Since Saturday Night is a low key show, the sarcophagus wasn't used but still, The Demon's entrance in the red lights with his cape was always undeniably impressive - a fact often underlined by the commentators
Yang did put out some fight but The Demon clearly dominated and won with his finishing move now called "Love Gun". On Saturday Night shows it seemed that the Demon was always doing good. On one hand, how could he not, but if someone wasn't watching the SN shows one would think The Demon never won a match.
