The Demon had a fight with a big looking character called Van Hammer/Major Stash on July 11, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, but since he's now Vampiro's minion, it's actually Vampiro who steps out first with his music cue, then signals the sarcophagus and the music switched to God of Thunder and the Demon follows him to the ring.
He gets some additional directives from Vampiro and Van Hammer comes next
Tony Shiavone: The man (The Demon) seems to be almost possessed by Vampiro, no one can explain this
Bobby Heenan: The Demon is a very sick man and so is Vampiro, so he has his mind
Shiavone: He's controlling his mind
Heenan: Yes he is, and they're both from the dark side, they're both sick people, they understand each other
Shiavone: Seems to me that there's no Dale Torborg left, the man who fought his alter ego The Demon, then of course Vampiro said he will bring The Demon out and boy, has he lived up to his word.
Van Hammer, or Major Stash as he's sometimes called, gets the upper hand almost immediately and it stays this way for the most of the match until in one surprising move, The Demon grabs him and does the Love Gun finishing move on him and wins fair and square
When he wins it isn't even God of Thunder anymore, but Vampiro's music. He's officially now in Vampiro's shadow, relegated to a Yes Man. And it looks like The Demon is asking his master if he's pleased - a sign of things to come
Tony Shiavone: Kind of odd that it seems that on every turn The Demoon was looking for approval from Vampiro
Vampiro comes to the ring and the light flash again, revealing Sting in the ski mask up somewhere pointing at them with a baseball bat
Later during the show, we see Vampiro lecturing The Demon and then addressing Sting
